ZOOM SESSIONS

Covid 19 – Online Training Sessions

Since the lockdown on the 23rd March, the team at Mossley have done everything they can to continue the bi- weekly training sessions. Consistency and routine an important factor for us all during this crisis.

The coaches consist of Andy Saint, Andy Stott, Brian Byland, Fred Hewitt and Kiera Byland. The warm ups / cool downs undertaken by Kiera with the main sessions by the others. We’re certainly being pushed and fitness levels are improving.

Over the last 10 weeks there’s been between 12-20 riders taking part in each session, the team spirit has been overwhelming. All couldn’t have happened without the wonderful IT skills of Colin Steen, big thanks from everyone.

Get involved, you can even submit your own playlist to keep motivation levels up.

SPRING BANK HOLIDAY FAMILY RIDE

I am organising a family ride on Sunday 28 May 2017, going along the Middlewood Way in Marple.

The route is ALL off road and is suitable for all age groups and due to the different road surfaces, it is recomended that you use mountain bikes, cyclo cross bikes or urban bikes. Road bikes could be difficult.

We will meet at Rose Hill Station, on Railway Road, Marple, adjacent to the Railway pub, aiming to leave at 10.00am.

I would suggest that you bring along your own sandwiches and drinks, so that we can have a picnic stop along the way.

Please can you let me know if you are coming.

Cheers
Mike

Family Ride

Thanks to everyone that came out on our family ride today.

We had 3 families that came along with a total of 11 riders, ranging from 5 years old, to the more mature riders.

The weather was great with a well earned cafe stop for the younger riders, who loved the bacon butties and ice cream.
