This is a fantastic new inter-club coaching opportunity coordinated by British Cycling in conjunction with local Go-Ride club coaches, including Tameside Circuit based Mossley CRT.

The first session will be held at the circuit on Saturday 24 June.

It is aimed at junior women racers, novice or less experienced U16 riders, all U14 riders, and U12 riders racing at regional level.

The session is £10 for 4 hours of top quality coaching. Sign on 8:15-8:45am and coaching from 9am.

Coaching will include physical and skills training, race skills and tactics and a workshop. The aim is to bridge the gap between club coaching and CCT and RSR level coaching.

If this is a success this will be held monthly!

Please support British Cycling and the NW Go-Ride clubs in making these sessions a success by attending, so that these great sessions will continue!

Entry online only – no on the day entries.

I am organising a family ride on Sunday 28 May 2017, going along the Middlewood Way in Marple.

The route is ALL off road and is suitable for all age groups and due to the different road surfaces, it is recomended that you use mountain bikes, cyclo cross bikes or urban bikes. Road bikes could be difficult.

We will meet at Rose Hill Station, on Railway Road, Marple, adjacent to the Railway pub, aiming to leave at 10.00am.

I would suggest that you bring along your own sandwiches and drinks, so that we can have a picnic stop along the way.

Please can you let me know if you are coming.
